The day has come for Anya to reclaim her life. Protected by an Amazon, she must go to legendary Palance, the city of her dreams. She has to leave her home without even knowing she was cursed at birth. She is blind to men. She can't see them, and they can't see her. Except one.
About the Author:Chris Lange is a dreamer. She daydreams, nightdreams, Mondaydreams, weekenddreams, springdreams, winterdreams. Then, she writes. Welcome to her romantic, fantasy world.

Actually, I don't often read this type of books, but "Blind to Men" by Chris Lange attracted me in terms that both it is a short book and it combines fantasy with erotic fiction. When reading the book, you sense that the sexual expressions are really necessary for the flow of the story. You cannot separate them from the book, because the romantic and exciting "making love" ceremonies are necessary for the female protagonist's survival, who was cursed on birth by an evil witch, so she will not see nor hear any man until she loses her virginity at 18. The men cannot see nor hear her, either. She doesn't know anything about this curse at all. She just sees one man, but Anya thinks that he is an ugly woman as she has never known what a man looks like :) This man, Kylor, is her protector and savior, who fights with the enemies (that Anya assumes as invisible) for Anya's life. Their relationship, which begins as a sexual duty, gains passion and lust and love in the end. No physical or spiritual power (even fear of death) can prevent them from loving each other.
In the first few pages of the book, I couldn't make out what exactly is going on, but then the story fascinated me so much that I finished it in one sitting! The only disadvantage may be that everything happens very quickly, but all in all, it's a short story. If you'd like to feel the fire growing inside, I recommend you to read "Blind to Men".
